Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has different uses, for healing wounds after surgery to cosmetic procedure uses. The liquid part of the blood is plasma which is made of protein and water. Plasma allows the platelets to move into the bloodstream. In PRP, the doctor draws blood from the patient and use a special device to separate the Platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood, and then it gets injected to the particular area of the body that is being treated.
